1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website levelwithlaura.com (the “Site”), operated by Level with Laura, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“Level with Laura,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What This Site Is
The Site describes the coaching and educational work of Laura Amend-Caffey and provides a way to learn about those services and get in touch. The Site is informational. It does not sell products, process payments, host a booking system, or create an account for you.
The Site includes a contact form. Using that form, or contacting us by email or telephone, starts a conversation. It does not create a coaching relationship and does not obligate either of us to anything.
A coaching engagement begins only when it is separately agreed in writing between you and Level with Laura, LLC, under a client agreement that sets out its own scope, fees, and terms. Nothing on the Site is an offer to form that relationship.
3. The Nature of Coaching, and What It Is Not
This section is important. Please read it.
Coaching is a forward-looking, collaborative process focused on clarity, goals, growth, and action. It is not a substitute for professional treatment or professional advice of any kind.
Specifically, neither the Site nor any coaching service is:
Psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment
Medical care, diagnosis, or treatment of any condition
Psychological assessment or the practice of psychology
Substance abuse treatment
Legal, financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice
Human resources, employment law, or regulatory advice
Laura Amend-Caffey is a coach and educator. She is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, physician, attorney, or financial advisor, and nothing on the Site should be read as a claim to any of those qualifications.
Coaching does not diagnose or treat illness. If you are experiencing a mental health condition, a medical condition, or a crisis, please consult a qualified licensed professional. If you are in immediate danger or considering harming yourself, contact emergency services or, in the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Where coaching work touches on areas requiring licensed professional support, you are encouraged to work with an appropriate professional, and you remain responsible for seeking that support.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, most of them within your own control, including your circumstances, your effort, and your choices.
Nothing on the Site is a promise or guarantee of any particular result, including any professional, financial, personal, or emotional outcome. Testimonials and examples on the Site describe the experience of specific individuals and are not a representation of what you or anyone else should expect.
You are responsible for your own decisions and for any action you take or choose not to take. You retain full responsibility for your life, your choices, your health, and your business and financial decisions at all times.
5. Informational Content
Articles, quotations, worksheets, descriptions, and other material on the Site are provided for general information. They are not tailored to your situation and should not be relied on as advice for your particular circumstances.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate and current but make no warranty that it is complete, accurate, or up to date, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, quotations, written material, workbooks, worksheets, images, graphics, logos, the Level with Laura name and wordmark, the tagline Clarity. Confidence. Success., and the overall design and arrangement of the Site, is owned by Level with Laura, LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
You may view the Site, and you may print or download individual pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
You may not, without prior written permission:
Copy, republish, or redistribute Site content
Use Site content in any commercial product, service, or training
Reproduce or adapt workbooks, worksheets, or written frameworks
Use the Level with Laura name, wordmark, or tagline as your own or in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement
Use Site content to train, fine-tune, or develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence system
Systematically scrape, harvest, or extract Site content
Workbooks and other materials provided to a client as part of a coaching engagement are licensed for that client’s personal use only, and may not be reproduced, distributed, resold, or used to deliver training to others.
7. Testimonials and Client Material
Client names, quotations, and photographs appear on the Site with the permission of the individuals concerned. Their words are their own and describe their own experience.
If you have given permission for your name, words, or image to appear and later wish it removed, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
Use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
Interfere with, disrupt, or place unreasonable load on the Site
Introduce malicious code of any kind
Impersonate Level with Laura or any other person
Use the contact form to send advertising, solicitations, chain messages, bulk messages, or automated submissions
Harass, threaten, or abuse any person through the Site, the contact form, or correspondence originating from them
We may decline to respond to any enquiry, and may block access to the Site or the contact form, at our discretion.
9. Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These are provided for convenience. We do not control them, do not endorse them simply by linking, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk.
10. Privacy
Our handling of information, including anything you send through the contact form, is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. Please read it.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Level with Laura, LLC and Laura Amend-Caffey will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or connected with your use of the Site or your reliance on any content on it, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US $100.00).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
This section governs your use of the Site. Liability arising from a coaching engagement is governed by the separate written client agreement for that engagement, not by this section.
13. Relationship to the Client Agreement
These Terms apply to everyone who visits the Site.
If you are a coaching client, your engagement is governed by the separate written client agreement you signed with Level with Laura, LLC. Where that agreement and these Terms address the same subject, the client agreement controls for matters relating to your engagement, and these Terms continue to govern your use of the Site.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Level with Laura, LLC and Laura Amend-Caffey from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
15. Changes to the Site and to These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
We may also revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on the Site with its effective date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms. Please check back periodically.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
17. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Level with Laura, LLC regarding your use of the Site.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
